I'm just getting into my first year growing on a plot in Manchester too.
You've picked a good forum here. A more helpful, knowledgable friendly bunch you'll be hard pushed to find... even when an argument breaks out (which doesn't happen often) it's friendly!
Where's your plot? Mine's in Blackley. Lovely little spot, it's like an oasis of quiet (until the natives start blatting around the park on their motorbikes - but we'll ignore them and just call it an oasis).Comment
