Welcome Glad your grand daughter helped you out, you'll be chatting away soon without a second thought!
Quite a few of us only have a small area to grow in, but it amazing what you can produce with limited space.
Watched the Carol Klein programme when it was first on BBC (assuming it is the same one) and it is worth a lookLast edited by elsie-scot; 12-04-2010, 12:12 PM.Elsie

Welcome aboard two brews - I have a feeling you and Two_Sheds will get along famously.
I didn't even know what a computer looked like before I came here.

Welcome to the Vine Two Brews, thanks for spotting the Carol Klein thing. I saw it before on the BBC, but it's well worth another look. Far better than that travesty with Alys Fowler that's just started on the Beeb. It also has great incidental music that reminds me of my teensThere are 10 kinds of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't.

Hi and welcome. I thought the Carol Klein programme was very good. It had enough info for beginners but didn't patronise long-time growers.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

Hi and welcome. This is one of friendliest and most helpful forums (fora?) I know. I like Carol Klein too even though she is a bit 'breathlessly enthusiastic' sometimes!
I was a bit disappointed with Alys Fowler's first programme ... don't know what I expected really ... some good tips though. Especially the dried peas one.
