Abbey Allotment

Have just got back from allotment at Lacock Abbey. I could spend all day there but have other things to do. Have earthed up potatoes and put more pea and bean supports up. Am having a bit of a battle with a pheasant that allways seems to be hanging around. Have tomatoes in flower at home and chillies growing well.(some plants over wintered). How are all your plots.

I was just wondering about your pheasant- cos I've got one in the field near our potager.

I thought they only ate sweetcorn!

Have you had you lottie long? I've had mine for all of 2 weeks I've have had lots of good advice form the grapes on the vine already

The darn thing pecks and scratches at everything like a chicken.Being in the grounds of the Abbey we are restricted to what measures we can take to put it off!!. Will just have to hope someone else`s plot becomes more attractive to it.

Not sure what the merging means. This computer stuff is all new to me. Only been online for 7day`s. Not sure I`m doing things right but I am sure another glass of my home made blackberry brandy will make things much clearer.
