Welcome to the vine, from unusually sunny Scotland!

We visited Maui once - what a beautiful, lush place Hawaii is. Really quite jealous!

Welcome to all and a very thanks for or the warm reply, i know how it is when weather act strange like last year were EL Nino wake up again, long summer, i wander if this year 2010 be the same, too many volcanic activity sending warm/boiling water to the ocean, specialty here in the North Pacific Ocean.

Yes is 12 hrs of sunshine, Ewa Beach is the farther city from the center of the island which is mountain, that's 7 miles far, no cloud hang around as they do in the mountain and other city around the mountain.

                            Location approximate:
                            Ewa Beach

Is hot this tell the sunrise/sunset:

                            Select Ewa Beach you see.

I have crops of pepper, love peppers, and i do have a tutorial homemade by me, to created a earthbox, very simple and others tips, i will post later.

note:Yes Caro Maui is a beautiful place too, many vacation there and the other island Kauai , away from the noisy city as Oahu(Honolulu) lol

                            Thanks all

                              Right!..well my bags are packed!!!

We're really looking forward to hearing all your different techniques and gardening ideas.
I've notced that in France ( where I live) some ideas are different from typical English ideas of gardening.
They seem to think that kale and parsnips are cattle food- and their idea of organic pest spray ( can't find in the shops) is home-made Marseille soap spray.
Gosh- I've just thought that you may not even grow things like kale and parsnips!!!!

This is going to be interesting to hear what you grow and your 'tricks of the trade'!!
