Hi all,

i was given a packet of beetroot seeds on monday, so i planted about 30 of them in a couple of little propagators, well i just looked and i have about 8 shoots about an inch tall,

that is amazing that they have grew so quick, just hope the others come up aswell.

we love beetroot. ive saved the rest of the seeds for next year.

Wow, that is quick! Think I had to wait 4-6 weeks for mine to show (although that was without the propagator and in early spring so now wonder really!).

I bought my bags for growing my veg from the supermarket for 38p each ,reusable ones, they have lovely prints of veg ,fruit etc on them -which gave me the original idea to buy them-make a few holes in the bottom to aid drainage and start planting. I have 9 of them full of potatoes and last year the yield was much better than those I planted in the ground.
