  • finally got to the top of the List!

Morning! everyone hope all is well

Being a avid reader of GYO/ and home veggie growing for many years I thought I would take the plunge to write on the forums so be gentle with me

and we have finally moved up the allotment waiting list and yes! we just got one! so excited and in the middle of planning out the plot and get going!

Welcome RS, love the name by the way! - Isn't it exciting to get your own plot?
I had one 10 years ago which I had to leave when we moved here. Then I got half a plot at our little village site, then last year, a full plot! Whoopee!

Don't try and do it all at once. I think more people give up plots because they have overdone it and think it's too much work than for any other reason.

    Good luck and good growing.

Great news! A little bit each day and you'll make loads of progress. Try for an hour before work and a few in the evening and you'll be amazed at how quickly you'll get along.

Get sowing your seeds at home now though, you're not too late to get things started, seed potatoes are usually heavily discounted around now and it's not too late to get them in.

            Good luck!

                    Hi Guys!

Thanks so much! Its all abit daunting a the moment, as just had a few raised beds at home, but I am raring to go

got some onion sets and seed potato left over so may pop them in to see if they grow.

Mapping it all out is taking time, but I'm sure once we have done it, it will start to thrive Can't Wait!!!

You have to loose sight of the shore sometimes to cross new oceans

I would be a perfectionist, but I dont have the time
