          Hello May I just joined today as well. If its any help i have posted pics up on my introduction thread of what i have done. I have gone for the neat and tidy approach with my growing, well, thats the plan anyway.

              Hi May, Great to have someone from Cornwall on the Vine - not that many of us, I think.
              This is a great forum and I've already learnt loads from it (but I had loads and loads to learn so I'm still on a fairly steep curve!) Whereabouts are you in Cornwall? Looking forward to reading your posts. Mary

                  Are your winters much milder than in the south east? I always remember seeing lots of palms growing when i went on holiday and thinking Cornwall was a tropical place

                  I know now thats its not tropical.

                              yes bounty i think we get get milder winters , but i'm from scotland and we always had it cold up there, so i'm used to the cold . It did seem pretty cold this winter , its been so sunny for a few weeks now
