Hello from Washington

Hi All,

My name is Tim and a newbie home grower from Washington, NE England. I have had limited first year success with Coriander, Rocket, Red Onions, Pak Choi and lettuce. I have had total failure with courgettes(snails), chillies(germination) and parsley (germination).

Already making plans for next year. I found this site whilst looking for advice on Gooseberries. I came across a Gooseberry show while on holiday in Egton Bridge (North Yorks) and it has inspired me to give it a go

I also have access to a green house next summer so plan to make use of that as well.
