Hello all,
Great forum, have picked up a few ideas from browsing, though it be time to introduce myself, as Im sure I'll have some questions to post on here in the future.
My name is Brian and I'm from North Yorkshire, we moved from a small terraced house with a tiny yard to a semi with a larger garden 15 months ago and have been gradually trying to get on top of the garden.
We inherited three apple trees and a veg patch about five metres by six metres, which was overrun with weeds when we moved in, but after a lot of hard work looks pretty much clear.
Ive found the best thing about growing fruit and veg is that our 5 year old helps along, and eats what we harvest a lot more readilly than he would eat the sam thing bought from a supermarket. "Are these the potatoes I helped dig up?"
