hi im extremely new to grow your own, not even dug a veggie patch yet !
im hoping i can gain a lot of info from all of you on here and hopefully eventually help other people!

i have a one year old son who adores his veggies so i thought its about time we grew them ourselves and teach him from a young age that it doesnt all come from asda lol

we are also hoping to prepare ourselves and garden for a few hens so fingers crossed all plans will go well.

We is fairly new, this is our 1st season of veggie growing.

I have grown veggies before but that was a while ago (OK 25 years ago ), so it don't really count

Loads to do, but we will get there.

Welcome... I'm quite new to the forum... IT'S GREAT!!!
Not been growing too long... dug my first 3 small veg beds this time two years ago (prepare in the autumn - grow in the spring...!!!) have additional two beds now, cold frame, greenhouse and planning to dig raspberry boarder this month!!! I'm never quite sure what I'm doing but I'm getting more and more to eat from it so something must be working!!!
There's lots to learn but the best advice I've been given (by the most experienced gardeners) is 'just have a go'!!!
