Hello everyone
Just thought I'd pop in here and introduce myself.
I'm Cookie
, I've been growing veg for a few years now, but still consider myself an amateur so will be looking for lots of advice. If I'm honest I don't seem to be very good at it, but the kids love it, we have fun doing it and the veg we do manage to produce is always eaten - despite the children not liking the same veg when shop bought - so we must be doing something right.
We've stuck to summer veggies so far (except for our parsnips that we forgot about the other year and ended up gigantic!), but looking to try out some seasonal veg over the winter and will be picking your brains for knowledge and tips shortly.
Hopefully I'll be able to help some of you out in return. Look forward to getting to know you all.
