Evening all

Very new to this place but slowly getting to grips with the layout.

Not got an allotment but started a veggie patch at the end of the garden earlier this year,having at last got rid of the majority of the bindweed from what was the shrubery (10 years it took ) this year so far 6 leaves on 2 sprigs,but it will be ongoing keeping it from coming back from next doors "rough patch"

Next problem will be getting the chicken run foxproof,brassica`s pigeon proof & everywhere squirrel proof

It seemed such a good idea when the wife said "why don`t we .........

Hopefully I can put up some useful posts while picking your collective brains on other subjects

you seem to be in the same position as me with the garden. I can't wait til the spring so that i can get planting on an industrial scale. Nice to see another person from the Midlands there does'nt seem to be many of us.

Thanks for the greetings ladies it is as you collectively say a happy,informative & addictive place to visit just the place I need to learn from over the long winter evenings to come,hopefully my little patch will be more productive next year after sifting through the collective knowledge on here
