    Hi all

We are 2 allotment virgins who have just spent our first full days hard slog on our allotment. It's a bit of a mess and the final result didn't show the amount of work which had gone in but we earned our baths tonight!!
If at first you don't succeed .. try and not be too surprised.

Hello and welcome to the Vine from me too!

I hope you've taken some before and after photos of your plot. Its really great to be able to look back on a photographic record, and I bet us fellow Grapes will be able to see just how much effort you've put in, coz we've all been there ourselves.

Hello and welcome to the vine, I got my first lottie at the end of April this year, It was a bit of a rush to get it ready for the season but with some hard work I had a great season, so much so that I took another half plot on last month and have just finish winter digging it, I've got a few more jobs to do before the bad weather comes but I really look forward to going to my plots, I'm not setting anything over winter but I'll be ready to go come spring.
                      Chris
