    hi all,thought i would say hello to all of you before bombarding your forum with all sorts of questions and mayhem.
    im a plasterer with two allotments and one dodgy leg,it was great fun two years ago was the first year of owning an allotment, earthing up potatoes on one leg, crutches in one hand and hoe in the other.

    i must of enjoyed it because im still there,probably more now anyway im looking forward to chatting to you all.
    i dont suffer with insanity i enjoy every minute of it

            not on the allotment no, its a very sandy type soil, but i live in park barn which is real heavy clay hence why i go to bellfields.

                          Welcome to the vine davetheforker. There are a good few grapes who are taking the no-dig route for a variety of reasons- some of them even gardening related!!

                              Hi good to have you on board. I am fro Aldershot originally but worked at St Lukes in Guildford then Farnham Hospital so get quite nostalgic when I see vines from my roots. we do get down a few times a year as one of my sons lives in Headley Down near Grayshott. Park Barn and Bellfields ring bells in the old grey matter.
