Hi all!
Greetings from chilly brightlingsea, essex.
I have been growing in my small garden for a few years, i'm on the waiting list for my local allotments ( and have been for around 19 months!!)
I am a keen grower of mostly vegetables, although the occassional flower/bulb/ herb does tend to creep in!
This year i have five raised beds 120x80cms, a fence border 40x600cms, some potato planters, pots/containers on the patio and a standard sized greenhouse.
This year i'm planning to grow...
Garlic, shallots, spring onions, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, pumpkin, courgettes runner beans, broad beans, sprouts, cauliflower, carrots, chilli peppers and my 1st/2nd early potatoes.
Quite a squeeze but hopefully managable.
I work for an agricultural machinery dealership, we also sell hardware, composts, fertilizer, netting, etc etc many of which are known brands so if anyone has any questions on the products i can always have a look!
I also fish alot! hence the name, there is nothing nicer than a freshly caught sea bass with new potatoes and a salad out of the garden!
