Hi everyone!
I have been lurking here for some time, having originally heard of the Grapevine through the MSE Greenfingered board. I posted for the first time today, so I thought I might as well introduce myself.
I have a tiny garden in London, and since last year when we moved in, I've been trying to make it beautiful, but also productive. For detailed info, please feel free to check out my gardening blog: Dream Garden Journal
In short, I grew loads of herbs, some salad leaves, radishes, strawberries, courgettes, tomatoes and Jerusalem artichokes - plus a few shrubs and perennials. This year I want to grow more annual flowers, different courgettes and tomatoes, and more climbers including French beans and mangetout. Oh, and more herbs and roses!
Well, that's it for now. Ideally, I'd like to get an allotment for growing food (asparagus and artichokes especially, as I currently don't have enough space) and leave the garden to flowers - but I won't have enough time until next year. Having said that, I might as well apply now as there are waiting lists in my area...
