we have been allocated our first allotment, been on the list for nearly 2 years, they are new plots as they extended the allotment area. new to gardening. Nervous to be honest. anyway just thought I would introduce myself. planning it to be a family allotment with me, my mum and my 10 and 7 year old.

Hi Angela, don't be nervous. Make a list of what you like to eat, and we can advise on how to grow.
It wouldn't hurt to get down the library and take out all their veg growing books. Only need buy the ones you really like

We have just been given an allotment and we took on a plot and a half plot! Cant wait to get stuck in. We are bound to make mistakes and probably make fools of ourselves, but hey thats all part of the fun!
