  • Hi from snowy Yorkshire

New to Grapevine, just saying hi.

Been growing for a number of years. My tried and trusted method.

    1. Get pot or tray or just some earth somewhere in the garden.

    2. Plant a seed or bulb or tree-like twig thingy.

    3. Water, if nature fails to remember (usually when the orange orb thing has been in the blue stuff for a while).

    4. Wait....

    5. More often than not something grows and it either looks nice or provides some stuff you can eat.

    Simples ;-)

Hi and welcome to the Vine... Yes lots of snow in Sheffield... again... I'm fed up with winter now.

My rule is.. If you cant eat it then dont grow it.

And mine is, it's surprising how many flowers you can eat!

Welcome - you'll like it here.

There's no justice. Those with a pot luck attitude somehow manage to grow great stuff yet those of us with a more scientific approach sometimes struggle.

Hello and a very warm welcome to the Vine. It's snowing here in Sheffield too. Could you put your location into your profile please? We'll not be able to remember where you are otherwise!

Hello, and welcome to the Madhouse from drizzly, wet, dull, soggy, muddy Essex.

Obsessed with the weather? Me? Nah!

                  OK, maybe....
