Hi sully,
We got our greenhouse gifted to us by one of my husbands collegues at work. He had very kindly supplied me with windfall apples and plums last year and subsequently was repaid with plum & apple jam, chutney and plum sauce (like brown sauce). When he knew how keen we were on fruit and veg he offered it to us. I wouldn't say we quite bit his hand off.... I am so excited but haven't a clue how to grow in it yet. My enthusiasm always overtakes my knowledge but life is a learning curve so here's to hanging on in there....wheeeeeeeeee!My Grandads favourite flowers were cauliflowers!
I just wish he were here to impart his wisdom on me as I begin my journey into the garden of life.

Hi occupiedblond, I too never had a clue how to grow and am still not sure if i have one now !!!! lol, but i am learning and the grapes on here helped so much as in every time i googled a question it allways brought me here, to my answered question. My green house is so full of seedlings and every time i go in and check i get a lovely surprise when something has germinated. , i too have been over enthusiastic, if all my seeds do turn into flowers and need re potting then i will panick coz i will have more flowers than chealsea flower show !!!! Good luck with yours we can be two novices together. x
