Hi my name is keeley I live in Chester and I'm looking to rent a allotment garden, but it seems like there's quite alot of waiting lists. Is there anyone out there that lives in Chester and that could help me with this please.

Hello!

There does seem to be waiting lists all over the UK unfortunately. However, have you tried landshare? People around that area might be happy to let you grow on their land for a share of the produce / you mowing their lawn/tidying the garden up or similar.

You may be wise posting in the 'allotment finder' forum too... you never know!

how long is your waiting list? I'd get my name down on all allotments within a reasonable distance to you, that you'd be happy to travel to (if possible).

Go to the top of the page and click on User CP, that will take you to another screen. You need to click on Edit Your Details...scroll down until you get to Location. Just pop in a rough location then click save changes...you don't have to put exactly where you are. Good Luck.
