firstly hi hello bonjour gutten tag lol
im ben im an electricianso can help with your diy advice but not your gardening thats why im here lol

i bought a house in june and after getting a bit obsesive over cider making I bought a couple apple trees year olds with the intent of using the fruit if i get any, when can i expect a crop or what shoul i do with a new tree( just bought a REDLOVE tree last week )

planted some cabbage and coliflower but its gone leggy at around 4" long and no strength what did i do wrong

aims this year are carrots, spuds(early),beetroot, cucumber, sweet peppers, cyan peppers, raddishes, letuce mixed, apples hopefully, pears (in the ground),cherry(in ground), blueberrys, gooseberrys, rhubarb and asparagus.

i have followed all instructions on packages but it still leaves me with questions but yeah its a little tiny but very busy spot

and moderators feel free to move post if neccessary

What-ho, BT! Welcome to the Vine!

Lots of questions there - you might want to post them into the various categories - there's a part of the forum for wine making, so you could have alook there for tips on cider, and as for trees, we have a real fruit tree expert on here (FB.)

With your seedlings, I think that they have been sown a bit early with not enough light. Brassicas are dead hardy, so can be sown (now) in a pot outside or in a coldframe, then when they've grown up a bit you can plant them out - but pigeons & caterpillars love brassicas, so cover them with netting or fleece.

Feel free to have a root around (haha!) the various bits of the vine to pick up tips, and the search button (top green bar, third from right) is useful for specific queries.

We don't bite (well, rarely!), so dive in!
