  • hello all

just thought to say hi, first time in my life I got some outdoor space and have rushed headlong into overfilling the house with seedlings and not necessarily knowing what to do. Enthusiasm has won over expertise in my case.
So I will probably be asking a lot of questions as the spring goes along!!

Feet first, best way to start I did, countless mistakes later, I'm still making more! All part and parcel of the fun - the ones that work out are excellent though!

Hello Hemlock and welcome to the vine.
Great news that you have some growing space now! Warning though.....growing stuff can be very addictive - GREAT isn't it

                      Thanks!
Ive noticed the addictive element already, I am staring at my tomato seedlings and worrying they are not growing fast enough! Im expecting them to double in size every time I go check upon them, which seems to be every hour or so. Then I get disappointed and start to think I am nurturing them to an early grave..

Its so lovely to have some outdoor space, even though it is a covered patio area, but still it is a start!
