  • Greetings from Germany

    Hello everyone,

I have been lurking in the shadows for a little while and checking the site out once in awhile. Now that it is spring I figured it was time to say what's up.

A little about myself: I grow hydroponically indoors and I also have an organic postage stamp size garden. I only grow with heirloom seeds I have collected here in Germany and also back in the states. From reading some posts I assume you guys call heirloom seeds heritage seeds. ???

I am, also, very disappointed to see the lack of hydroponics being used. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places...

Hi there- and welcome to the Vine!

To be honest we've never really had much info on hydroponics but are always keen to learn about all aspects of fruit and veg growing.

There are many more people in the UK who are starting off with growing their own produce- many like you with very little space to grow.

Maybe you could encourage a few of us to try it out-but we'd need to know a bit more of what sort of thing is involved.
Do you have any piccies you could share with us??

Heirloom/heritage seed???...hmmm....we have a few members who are very much into that aspect!!!!

            Thanks everyone.

I do have some pictures but they are not educational quality. Most of them are just plain pictures of plants sitting in a bucket.

I'll be getting some better ones this summer.I can start a journal here right?
