Hello and thank you to whoever created this excellent site. I've been reading for a while and thought it was about time I joined in properly!
Fairly new to growing and last year had limited space, a small area in my front garden and an 8ftx2ft raised bed build in the back garden. That was until I realised in October that the 6ft high jungle that was our office garden actually had earth underneath it and persuaded the boss to let 3 of us tackle it.
A few months later we now have a double compost bin made from pallets, sugar snap peas a metre high with lovely purple flowers, garlic (including elephant!) growing, carrots, betroot, romaine lettuce, radishes, 5 types of squash, 6 types of tomato, globe artichokes, cauli, savoy cabbage all sown. One side is our 'orchard' with 2 types of apple tree, a conference pear, president plum and dozens of strawberry plants - needless to say we've become a bit obsessed!!
Anyway - I look forward to learning from you all, we're all a bit new to this but loving every minute!
