Hi everyone I've been loitering here for over a year and only just twigged that I should say Hi... oops.

Based in Lancaster, got the plot the year before last, had a good if short first season, embarrasingly poor season last year, trying to do better this year. I'm starting at the bottom and trying to achieve a courgette glut. DH says he'll cope when they hit the kitchen - if he's overwhelmed, then I know I've achieved that one!

It's good to read everyone's posts and know that there are so many likeminded people out there - not to mention experienced and helpful!
