  • Hello All

Hi everyone. Thought i'd introduce myself.

40 (something) years old living in kent and really just getting into the growing your own and the whole gardening bit.

we have an allotment and the wife is really trying to get it up and running (my fault it isn't yet as i work a lot and haven't got down there to sort it out really.

garden is nothing to talk about for size but got some flowers doing well and even managed to intersperse (spelling?) some veg with them but garden is for flowers really (with a bit of veg if i fancy trying something new lol).

i've promised her i'll get down there and cultivate it properly from now on though seeing as the spuds we had at the weekend tasted great :-)

anyway hope to learn a lot from this site and from what i've already read i will be!

looks like a really good site.

hi m8, just had a nice few pak choi done in a growbag and some spring onions (both at home) and a tayberry bush with some sorry looking corander in a basket next to some nice strawberries.

on the allotment we (the wife) have beans, rhubarb, peas, toms (oh some at home too)pak choi (which has more or less been eaten by the locals ;-( ), got the obligatory blackberry bush (in garden too), onions and others which i don't know about because i haven't got my backside into gear to go down there.

To the vine a very warm welcome, Yoda. I am sure once you get yourself in gear your wife, pleased with the progress, will be.

I think Chris is trying to explain why he thought you were a man Taff and we're good at Starwars speake which is probably thought to be a mainly masculine activity too!
