Welcome home

Hi everyone - I'm sorry I haven't been on the Vine for ages (think it's almost 12 months now), have been busy trying to fit everything in in only a 7 day week. Hope everyone is OK, I'll have a trawl through some of the posts tomorrow and have a catch up. Have been that busy working that only really have two pieces of news to update you on. Firstly, we acquired a new kitten called Wilko at New Year - a black bundle of mischief, but I love him loads. Secondly, I've decided to give up my lottie at the end of the growing season. It's been a really hard decision to make but I've been struggling with my back for a couple of years and can only get down there on a weekend, the weather last summer and this has been awful so I don't think I can keep it up to the standard required. On a more positive note, am in the process of reclaiming the back garden, once again, so I can grow veg in there. Those who remember me from the days when the Vine was just a mere pup, will remember me wandering around at the crack of dawn in my PJs checking on my veg! More of that to come. Hi Bernie. Luckily I do still see you on Faceache. I was recounting our trip to Tatton 2 years ago last weekend as I met a couple of ladyfriends there for a day out [in the rain, again].
