Hello all.

Just thought I'd register for the site having bought a few of the 'Grow Your Own' mags.
I'm living in Ireland's mid-west (but am a Burnley lad originally) and have a blank canvas of land to work with, just under an acre of land.

Got plans obviously, but where and what we're not 100% sure yet - it'll be next year when we start no doubt. First up will be a huge polytunnel and after that probably an orchard. I'm a chilli head so loads of peppers and probably tomatoes will be high on the agenda.

Anyhow, I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and picking your brains.

Yeah, it'll be a lot of work because it's no more than a meadow at the moment, and the land at the front of the house is fenced off (including the area above the septic tank, which I can't use). I'll need to leave enough space for the kiddies to play too, but there will be more than enough space to keep us busy.
