  • Another hello from a learner

Just to say hello to everyone, As the name suggests i am Rob, found this site today while looking for info and now am totally engrossed with it all, never thought it could be so fascinating.

I have just taken my first ever plot to grow some veg on, so loads to learn and some daft questions in the near future i suspect.

Hello - I'm new too - hopefully your questions will be more stupid than mine and I'll feel better

Welcome. No stupid questions as generally others will be wondering the same but too scared to ask. However the search function is great as most questions have often been asked a dozen times before.

Thankyou all for the welcome, its good to know you have heard all the daft questions before and wont shoot me if i ask some myself.

I have already discovered its very addictive, although i have only been given this garden two weeks ago, i am down there every spare minute, and have dug most of it over already, and planted quite a bit, i know its very late in the year for lots of things but really felt i needed to give a few things a go.

So far i have radishes, carrots, spring onions, pak choi, beetroot, peas, tomatoes, spuds, swedes, cabbages and a few lettuce.
I am quietly worried that most will do no good but keeping my fingers crossed i get something.

I have also put my name down for an allotment as well, i am first in line so hope that comes good in the near future, time will tell on that.

                      Rob.
