  • Hello All Veg fans

hi just a quick hello , just come in from planting out the leeks at long last (very late I know ) and was wondering how i could find out if everybodys tomatoes are still green or if it just mine . Brain wave! .i had a idea that My fav mag GYO would have a forum and it does .
so Hello to you all and keep digging .or none digging if you like .
Do a bit of both myself i have clay soil you could make pots out of so I start with a none dig bed , work it for a few years them do a full on double dig .
After 15 years the beds I started all thoses years ago are starting to be almost workable .

Hello, and welcome to the Madhouse!

I have clay soil too - I just make raised beds, and fill them using the 'Lasagne' method. They'll rot down eventually, I guess!

Hello, welcome to the forum! My greenhouse toms have been ripening for a while - my outdoor ones are green and covered in blight.

There's been some advice given to me recently - up the feeding per week (I was doing twice a week), or feed half strength every other day

Hi and welcome to the vine Mollymoo. I don't have clay soil now, but i used to before we moved and on a sun baked summertime you would think that i had layed slabs down, so i don't envy you there. It seems that a lot of folks that i know who are growing toms outside haven't had many ripe ones yet. There's still time.

Howdy. The green house and outdoor toms are just starting to colour up.
