  • Hello from leafy surrey

a fellow gardener saying hi how's it growing.

I don't have an allotment any more having moved down to Surrey I now have a rather large garden well 3 gardens tbh.

I mainly grown fruit and veg with a sprinkling of herbs and flowers.

I've been growing veggies and fruit since I was about 5 years old.

At present I have a small greenhouse where a red grape vine has kind of taken over, only as I can't get into the green house due to the building work in the back garden. It resembles a builders yard with a one of my 3 sports cars hiding amongst all the building materials. One day oh one day the conservatory will be completed and the pond will take shape. It does contain a lovely Lexton apple tree.

At present the front is a car park.

However the side garden holds 3 pears, one with 2 seperate varites on it, a greengage, a victoria plum, a cherry and a cox's apple tree. Also with 2 redcurrants, 6 gooseberries, raspberries, logan, tayberries and strawberries.

I did have an Apricot but I killed it

Along with a veggie plot of 24' by 13' a herb garden and a lavender/rose garden.

I love nothing better than finding nice things to cook for dinner from my overstocked garden.
