Hello everyone I'm a newbie to the forum. I posted this on the wrong thread a few weeks back and a kind soul pointed me in the right direction

So looking forward to getting to know you all and pick your brains I'm a complete novice and just getting into the whole gardening thing. I've just purchased a 6x4 greenhouse and I'm thinking of planting all the usual suspects i.e. soft fruits and salad veg. I planted rhubarb that I grew from seed and it's doing as well as can be what with the slugs and all! I have a cherry tree which seems to yield one cherry a year! and I have a flowering redcurrant which the birds seem to love.

I'm also going to be looking at growing things in containers........I have a huge garden but it's largely been made into dry areas to make it more manageable. I'm going to have to be rather creative as I like the idea of a fruit corner and a birds and bees corner I can't believe how hooked I'm becoming in all this stuff.....I suddenly know more about flowers than I ever imagined! Anyway I'm going to be busy googling about all the the things I want to grow and I will keep you up to date with my little successes

Thanks for the welcome guys I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy it here And seriously my cherry tree does only produce one cherry every couple of years and for the life of me I don't know why! Maybe someone nearby has a cherry tree or perhaps it's the birds to blame.......for all I know I could have at least 2 and some greedy little bugga ate the other! Anyway at this rate maybe in 10yrs I will have enough to fill a punnet
