Peaty soil, eh ? I have leafmould, but not peat...ever take the ferry to Aberdeen, or do you stick to the small bouncy boats ?

Ha the competiton is on! the soils here is just peat! just down the hill from my veg patch we have are peat trench that we worked in the warmer weather and now have a stack of dried peat blocks ready for the fire , I would love leafmould no trees here so lack of leaves lol
I am more a flighing man still not got the sea legs was ill the last time i was on the 12 hour ferry from aberdeen
