    Hi all

    I thought I would introduce myself! My Name is Danny, I live in Norwich, Norfolk. I have had an interest in growing things since I was very young. I have recently (last 3 or 4 years) became very keen on growing my own veg and fruit to a lesser extent.

    Fruit and Veg I find easy to grow;
    Courgettes
    Carrots
    Runner Beans
    Chillis (all sorts of varieties)
    Raspberries (not sure of the variety bought from poundland last year)

    Fruit and Veg I find hard to grow;
    Peppers
    Tomatoes
    Onions (never get to a decent size)
    Strawberries

    Fruit and Veg I would like to grow;
    Cucumbers
    Aubergine
    Kale
    Purple sprouting brocolli

    Thats all I can think of at the moment. I'm mainly here for the tips and tricks that I havent tried yet and also to share some of my experiences.

    Thanks

    Danny

    Hello Danny and welcome. If you've already had a go at growing all the things in lists 1 & 2 you're definitely not a newbie! Search this forum for lots of tips and ask away. Hope you'll share some with us too!

                              I grow mostly in my back garden, although this year I plan to utilise the front garden more as we now have a puppy lab who likes to help dig up veg. I'll try and take some pics at the weekend of my growing space both front and rear get a descent amount of sun. The front garden is less overshadowed so practically gets full sun for the majority of the day. Should be good for toms.
