Newbie here,
well new to growing your own veg, i have bought some tomatoe seeds as got around to giving it a go this year (money maker the Suttons Organic seeds one, dont know if that makes a difference and Gardenrs Delight) stayed with the usual suspects.

I was also thinking of growing some runner beans and some peas anyone recomend any good varieties? see in the garden centres and supermarkets they like Scarlet Emporer.

I am an ex Gardnders World magazine convertie and so pleased to see so many friendly People with realy good advise so pleased to have joined.

Hi Resonate and welcome. I always grow Gardener's Delight - it may be common but its my favourite! Climbing French beans are good too so you may like to think about growing some of those.

Depends...I like the ones with red flowers, the pods dont get stringy but as luck would have it, I cant remember the name of the variety....scarlet emperor maybe? <---ooops ha ha!!
