Hello and welcome, MissOnion. Think of any fruit or veg that you'd like to grow, put it in the search box at top right and I'm willing to bet that you'll find it has been discussed before!

Most folk grow them outside. If you want to post a question, have a look at the different areas of the vine i.e "Feeling Fruity" for this question. You'll soon get the hang of it.

Outside is the best. You can prolong the season for strawberries inside I guess but I don't think raspberries would benefit

              Welcome.

Hello Miss Onion and welcome to the vine, I grow my strawberries outside but I've heard of people growing them in polytunnels.
                      Location....East Midlands.

Just a tip Miss. When you start a new thread make the title the subject of the thread like 'Growing Strawberries and Raspberries Inside.' Otherwise there will be a lot of threads titled Hello Everyone and we won't know one from the other.

Welcome miss onion. You will soon get the hang of how it works......have fun.......I have 3beds of strawbs outside and about 18 in pots in the GH. The inside ones are starting to flower now.......but outside they are barely sprouting their new growth.........

                          I hope for a few early berries..........raspberries......outside I think.

                          Loving my allotment!

Hi Miss O. Having thought upon it you could try both for the strawbs. You never know what the weather is going to throw at us so either one could be the back up. Under cover you'd still get crop if wet cool summer and out side a good crop if warm/hot dry summer (so long as you water obviously)

                            Give it a go.

                            PS. Don't forget to feed.
