Most folk grow them outside. If you want to post a question, have a look at the different areas of the vine i.e "Feeling Fruity" for this question. You'll soon get the hang of it.sigpic“Gorillas are very intelligent, but they don't have to be as delicate as chimps -- they can just smash open the termite nest,”

Welcome miss onion. You will soon get the hang of how it works......have fun.......I have 3beds of strawbs outside and about 18 in pots in the GH. The inside ones are starting to flower now.......but outside they are barely sprouting their new growth.........
I hope for a few early berries..........raspberries......outside I think.
Loving my allotment!

Hi Miss O. Having thought upon it you could try both for the strawbs. You never know what the weather is going to throw at us so either one could be the back up. Under cover you'd still get crop if wet cool summer and out side a good crop if warm/hot dry summer (so long as you water obviously)
Give it a go.
PS. Don't forget to feed.Last edited by donnakebab; 16-03-2012, 11:22 PM.
