Hi, have been a gardener for a while, but still do random silly things like not rotating potatoes where I intended to put them for the sake of 'prettiness' - ie looking out of kitchen window onto sweet peas and Gladies rather than a row of spuds!
Interested in organic gardening, as have been a veggie for most of my life and prefer to grow cottage garden style, mixing in the veg and flowers with no chemical input if I can help it.
I like a rather wild, but twee faery look to my garden lol which is not to everyone's taste - but its cottage garden with an edge for me and I love it lol
Welcome any tips, especially composting which has been a bit 'is it worth it really?' this year, companion planting, dog-friendly cottage garden plants ( have a list of these so I don't poison the mutt), ponds, frogs - my wildlife takes over at certain times of year lol etc
