  • Another newbie!

    Hi everyone,
I've been dipping in and out of here for a few weeks, but finally plucked up the courage to join you!
I'm fairly new to gardening. I've grown the odd bit of salad stuff and herbs in pots before, but this year I decided to take the plunge and turn over about half of our garden here in south Wales to growing veggies!
I don't have a green house as yet and so don't have a spare window sill in the house as I've got little seedlings poking up all over the place! I'm planning to plant runner beans, swiss chard, sprouts, cauli, calebrese, beetroot, carrots, kale and some fennel on the plot. I've got some salad leaves, radishes and spring onions in pots and containers, which seem to be taking an age to get going due to the dreadful weather!
Hope you all wont mind me picking your brains for help/tips/advice?!!
If it comes from a plant, eat it. If it was made in a plant, don't!!
