  • Got the bug!!

    Hi all,

I'm Sarah - new to my own garden but my parents were practically self sufficient in veggies growing up.
I've always wanted to grow but other things seemed to get in the way.
This year for my birthday in March, my husband and children bought me a mini greenhouse and a whole load of seed. Best present ever and away I went!

I've since bought myself a larger growhouse and I seem to have filled it! I look forward to benefitting from all your knowledge and learning loads along the way. My baby plants will love you all for it!

Well ---- I may have gone a little bonkers and planted everything!

I have tomatoes - Sungold, Roma, Minibel, Garden Pearl and Gardeners Delight - All from seed except the Sungold - it was a quid as a nice plant so I bought it !

Cucumbers - Looking a bit sorry for themselves - too cold I suspect

Peas and Beans - They look great

Peppers - Cali wonder and Bell boy

Herbs in there - Coriander, Parsley, Thyme and Basil.

Aubergines - Tiny but not dead!

                Courgettes - Look good

Butternut squash - Saved some seeds from a shop bought one - No idea if they grow but what have I lost if they dont ?

Brussel sprouts - started them today - think it may be too late? We'll see!

Then outside I have Strawbs, spuds, carrots, salad, rocket, beetroot, radishes!!!, onions.

I've got alot in containers as I dont have much ground space.

Loads I know but you did ask

Thanks for your interest though guys
