Hello,
Just a quick "hello" to introduce myself....I'm a married 40-something allotment holder of 5 months with 3/5 of a plot in Blackpool. The plot came with a greenhouse & grapevine, raspberries & blackcurrants, shed with glass lean-to and 2 raised beds along with 90' of beds split into 5 chunks of varying sizes.
I've had varied success in the greenhouse, but currently have sweet & chilli peppers, aubergines and a variety of tomatoes in there, along with courgettes & cucumbers that will be hardened off to go outside.
I've got beetroot, florence fennel, potatoes (Charlotte & Rooster), red & brown onions, garlic, shallots, strawberries, mange tout & sugar snap peas, cabbage, cauli, brocolli & p/s brocolli in the beds and carrots in two ex-potato bags, with seedlings of leeks, more shallots & onions, chard & sweetcorn waiting to be planted out.
I also have a semi-willing husband who doesn't have a lot of spare time due to working away but is very supportive
