  • New from London

    Hi everyone.
I had been looking for growing advice and this forum has been invaluable so had to join.
I live in drought-ridden SE London/Kent border. I have had an allotment for about 18 months. Spent most of the first year clearing a plot that had not been used for 5 years or more (no-one can remember exactly). I have grown veg before but not for many years so lots to learn again. Learnt loads by trial, error and harrassing other plot neighbours so now I wil probably harrass you lot. Also got the crowning glory to my plot put up in Feb; a shiny new polytunnel. Hence my need for advice.
Look forward to chatting with you all
    Kestrel.

        Welcome Kestrel!

I'm with Donna, only dream of a greenhouse (in my case) - one day, when we get moved to Devon!

anyway, lots of advice, silliness and suggestions (not always polite!) available here. Enjoy!
