  • Hi :-)

    Hi all
i thought i best say hi, and tell you a bit about my self
im from Kent, i live with my Turkish husband, 3 cats and 2 chickens
i try and grow some of what we eat, even with our english weather.
i have a small garden, full of pots and beds with everything from aubergines, cucumbers, chillies, peppers, garlic, onions and many more.
this was my first year for potatoes, very pleased with my two old sprouting spuds i stuck in soil ages ago hehehheheh
mum always said i could grow anything
ive always wanted an olive tree and a lemon tree.
one day i will move to turkey and have my own little farm there

          Hello and welcome.

I am a relative newcomer here myself, but I can guarantee that you won't find a group of more friendly and helpfull folk anywhere, on or off line.

Just remember- no question is a stupid one, someone else is bound to be having or already had the same problem as you, so don't hold back when you need advice. (I thought that bindweed in my garden was a runner bean - someone else was growing a nettle thinking it was a strawberry plant!!)

Welcome to the vine askimgeorge! It is a bit of a challenging year all round - I hope you do well with your veg! My plot is distinctly bedraggled - and me with it!

In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
