Well done on the progress thus far if you do not get time to plant in all the beds as you clear them,cover them over with some cardboard (most shops will give you all you can carry ) to suppress weed growth & help keep the soil warm over winter,keep up the good work& keep the pic's coming

Not much progress made on the allotment in the last week, although I found some bargain seeds and bulbs at a Wyevale garden centre near my work. They were only 10p a packet so I spent half an hour sorting through the bins and finding the ones I wanted.

I'm not sure why they were so cheap as they are still well in date - think that they just wanted to clear space for all the Xmas tat ... ho ho ho...!
