    Hi folks,

    First post.

Have been hearing good things about your forum and thought it was time to join up.

Am a bit of a novice at gardening, having lived most of my adult life in a flat before buying a house with a garden a year past in November. Tried my hand at growing a few veggies last year, but was very hit and miss.

Looking forward to getting it right a bit mire this time round.

    Hello Mr KittyColdNose
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

Hello out in the cold and welcome. Has Mrs Kitty been annoying you with her tales of life on the Grapevine? Most of them are true - and yes we really are that nutty (I am - but the rest will deny it).
So pull up a chair, shove Mrs Kitty out of the way and come in for a warm.
        Would you like a cuppa?

Well it seemed the nicer option. Some folks might take offence to "We can own you wholesale" :-)
