  • Most of our garden pests are domestic

Happily living with around 40 odd chickens, 4 ducks 2 dogs, 5 cats and a large black pig and now the proud owner of a polytunnel. For the past 9 or so years our efforts at gardening have been blighted by as well as the normal pests like cabbage white butterflies and blight - our chickens, ducks and pig.

After the horrendous weather of last year this year with a brand new polytunnel and masses of electric fencing, stock fencing and chicken fence we are hoping to finally harvest some of the fruits of our labours.

Even if we fail it will have been fun trying. Looking forward to reading all the posts and being enthused by them.

Hello, welcome to the forum. I like the sound of your garden, full of animals! Good luck with the polytunnel.

I think we all have troubles trying to keep things out of things or things in things! if I could successfully keep my (large) dog out of where he shouldn't be I think I'd have to make my garden like for knox! My, that dog can jump high!
You may say I'm a dreamer... But I'm not the only one...

I'm an official nutter - an official 'cropper' of a nutter! I am sooooo pleased to be a cropper! Hurrah!
