  • Hi everyone, room for one more?

Hello all, I'm female, (very) late forties, just getting to that stage where raised beds are a blessing.

I'm a relative newbie to gardening but I enjoy pottering about and would like to get more involved with growing things, fruit and veg especially.

I grew some (edible) cucumbers last year and was just as proud as when I gave birth to my first child.

Anyway, I hope to be able to pick up some tips and advice here as well as maybe make some new virtual friends.

Welcome Gael, where are you from? If you add your general area to your profile people will be able to comment better on any questions you want sorted.

Welcome, and hope this summer is a better one on that side of the world.

If you put your location on your profile we'll have a better idea of your growing conditions - Scotland's a big country too

                1. Go to Settings at the top of the page
                2. My Settings on the left
                3. Edit Profile and scroll down until you get to Location
                4. Save Changes
                (Think that's right )

Go into your profile, go into the "about me" section and you should be able to do it in there.

Thanks, I've added Central Scotland. I'm not sure how exact to be yet so I'll leave it like that for now I think.

Thanks for the welcome everybody. You seem a friendly bunch.
