Hi Everyone - We moved last June to this beautiful location and I've finally (after many years of dreaming) got the large garden I've always wanted. We've always had a garden, but never the space for a veggie plot so am looking forward to trying to create one. Thanks for all the brilliant tips so far!

Hello Angeldon and welcome, I'm originally from a little further north than you there, but I love Brecon. Do you have a view of the black mountains or Pen-y-fan. Be careful how you answer, I might get very jealous.

Hello and welcome Angeldon.When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.Comment
