  • Hello All

We've just joined the The Grapevine forum and hope to exchange tips and experiences. We have our "moestuin" (aka allotment for those in UK) in The Netherlands near Berkel & Rodenrijs (near Rotterdam airport). We grow a variety of vegs and fruit, and had a very productive season in 2012. We have lived in Holland for many years, so feel quite a home here. Hope to hear from gardeners out there.

Hi Dave and Carole, welcome to the vine.
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

Hello Dave and Carole, and welcome to the Vine! Holland, eh? Do you have lots of fertile soil from the reclaimed land?

I'm looking forward to adding a smattering of Dutch to my smattering of Welsh!

I thought Halldwr might have Welsh connections anyway
