  • Living with Plot 46b.

Why o why did we do it???
We took over plot 46b at our local allotments back in Feb, so far every (other) weekend as been taken up with digging, tilling, weeding, planting, drinking (tea) and eating bacon butties. and we bloody love it.

It's costing a small fortune, Mantis tiller, all new hand tools, wheelbarrow, seeds, plants, we could have gone on holiday with what we've spent.....but we still love it.

When we are up the lottie folks stop and talk, we pop the kettle on and stop and have a brew every hour, sitting there in our own bit of good old England.

It's half a plot to start off with and as we've almost filled it to bursting point we've put our names down for another plot later....must be off my rocker

Nah, just common or garden taking the p*** !

(Of course, some folk might think that comment about the compost heap was a bit beyond the pail...)
